Moe and Larry head to a sanatorium where Shemp has been treated after suffering from hallucinations. But when the boys are introduced to Shemp s new fiancee, they realize he still is a sick man. Dr. Gesundheit comes for a visit and leaves Shemp some pills, which he has trouble swallowing. Shemp is incensed over marrying his gal as soon as possible and get stuck inside a telephone booth with a stranger, who happens to be Nora s father.
